"Architecture of Reliable Web Applications Software"

The user is able to execute
a job, and move files into or out of the workspace.
Because a user might hold workspaces on different nodes, communication between workspaces
on nodes has to go through service invocations, in a similar way as in Figure 3. The user on
Node A can invoke a service provided by Node B to transfer a file or a work description file
to the workspace on Node B. If the transferred file is a task, it might execute another file
transfer or work transfer from Node B to Node C via another service invocation. To avoid

the personal workspace being accessed by another user, each invocation has to include the
user??™s identity information to pass though the ???gatekeepers???.
Security.Consideration.for.WSGrid
The security requirements that a network application and a grid system should fit have been
briefed in the earlier section. This section discusses some additional requirements to assist
WSGrid.
Virtual Organizations (VOs) in WSGrid are constructed by ???nodes??? and valid users. A user
or a group of users might be authorized on many nodes.
