Definition
Web services is an emerging technology that has attracted a lot of attention over the last
few years as a new way of building and deploying software to simplify development and
integration of IT systems. They represent a new approach for application integration of
domestic IT systems and for connecting software over the Internet. The objective is to
reduce the complexity and expense of traditional business-to-business (B2B) connectivity.
Web services technologies are based on open standards recommended by the World Wide
